What do you think the coolest card art ever is? Personally, I think it is either Juzam or the 5thE Earthquake, the one drawn by Richard Kane-Fergeson

Personally I think John Avon is the best MTG artist.
My favortie art is Lotus Vale.
As far as creatures and stuff goes...
I say Juzam and Vesuvian Doppelganger take the cake.

The old Serra Angel is quite cooooool
But nothing beats Elvish Ranger
The se7en lands are the best ones!
The old pictures of Quiton Hoover...i love his style.
And Paolo Parente is great.

What is wrong with me?! I totally forgot all about Undermine and Doomsday! okay.. Doomsday wins hands down! How did I forget him? I even made a deck around him and posted the decklists here! (which not many people are looking at!) (.. hint hint hint hint)

My absolute favorite Artist is rk post. In case anyone doens't know, he did Morphling, the Avatars, Thorn Elemental, Voice of All, and many others. However, my favorite card illustrated by him was Defiling Tears, from Invasion. There's an interesting story that goes along with Defiling Tears. If you see the original picture, they only used an extremely small part of the painting, which was obviously intended for a different card, probably an artifact.
My favorite artists are the oldies, and then a few of the newer ones. Donato Giancolo has some great art, as does Kev Walker. Mark Poole is my favorite artist, I just love his legends lands and A/B/U cards. Howling Mine, Ali, Ancestral Recall... all are great! I don't think I could pick a favorite card...

My fave artist is Brom, but on second thought my favorite art is Leviathan. It's even better than the dragon!
I'd have to say Ebon Praetor. mainly because I don't understand it. There's a rabbit.. and a lizard-thing! What does it all mean?! ;)
Ok, for real now: Doomsday Specter. It's just so eerily cool, if you don't like it, you're crazy. :)
If you haven't seen the artwork on this Revised common, go get it, unless you're under 18 ...
...there are any great pictures. Ron Spencer and rk Post happen to be two of my favorite fantasy artists.
Unmask, and the Avatars from Prophecy are all done by rk Post. Unmask posses my favorite art, and it is also my favorite Black card.
Prismatic Circle from Mirage is definitely the best artwork, and it's as admirable now as it was when it was printed (unlike the dragon-of-the-month artwork).
Too bad the card sucks.
Seriously, though, to me it has to be Morhpling or Sol Ring (after rk post turns into Cartman)
I dont think anyone has mentioned Andrew Robinson. Dracoplasm and Reclaim are really good.
But it's definitely the new Serra Angel or maybe even the new Llanowar Elves, they look pretty cool as well. But I'd have to say that there is just no way of saying which single card has the best artwork. I think 7th edition will present to us some of the best artwork ever seen in MTG.

Its go to go to Juzam or lightning dragon. They rule.
