Anyone here still play it? I was just curious to see how many people here still played this game.
A friend introduced me to it, and it was very addictive. I bought 2 copies so my friends could play it with me over my network. I got into it big at first, and then started losing interest when my favortite server went offline. I can't even remember the name of the server right now, LOL. I started playing MTGO and lost even more intrest. I am now losing intrest in MTGO, and have gone back to this game.
I even built my own mod and bought a server to run it. My friend that introduced me to the game helped me build the mod. "A World of Chaos HOTU CEP" if you are ever online looking for a server (server side characters only). I have HOTU and CEP in use in it though.

I play it like a MADMAN! The Official Campaigns are only the tip of the iceberg, and sadly that's all a lot of people ever see. The real 'meat' lies in the Toolset, and the creation of your own modules. I'm a huge fan of the Aielund Trilogy (soon to become the Aielund Saga) and the Paladin Trilogy (Twilight, Midnight and Dawn).

I'm sad to admit I am still playing this game ... but it's only because I JUST got it a year-and-a-half ago (Xmas '03) and am the slowest gamer EVER. I think I'm still in the jailbreak in the original game, so that should tell you exactly how great a gamer I am.

That being said, I do like the game a lot. I think they did a good job incorporating real D&D rules, and I'm hoping that they're going to base a lot of the work for D&D Online on it. But I guess we'll see.

Hey Hvir, can you point me to a place where I can download a good bunch of mods? I want to mark it in my favorites so, in three years when I finish it, I can download some. ;)

Go to The Neverwinter Vault (nwvault.ign.com). There are several modules that are worth downloading, including The Aielund Trilogy/Saga, The Lord of Blight storyline, The Paladin Trilogy (Twilight, Midnight and Dawn, although Dawn hasn't been released yet), and the Midwinter Festival series.
