Well, now that there's 10 DBGs on MTGnews, I think it's time for a little competition, so I propose a tournament. Here's how it works.
The 10 teams each choose 5 people to represent their team. Then, each of these groups is paired against another. For example, say it's Team MTGnews vs. the Roguedeckers. It would look like:
Roguedeckers:
1
2
3
4
5
Team MTGN
1
2
3
4
5
each person on the team is randomly assigned a number and plays the person on the other team with the same number. So, say Team MTGN wins 3 games (a "game" is a best of 3 series between each of the 2 players on their team), RD takes 2. So team mtgnews wins and advances. Another catch would be that the entire team can only play 2 different decks, which must be decks the team worked on, so it's not just a battle of netdecks. 3 representatives play one deck (they may have variations within each, but they must have the same archtype) and 2 play another deck the team worked on.
When your team is ready to compete (or if they want to), sign up here with the team's name, and the 5 representatives.
