Question Quest of Pure Flame vs Multiple players?

If I have Quest for Pure Flame and I cast fireball and target 3 opponents, do I get to put 3 quest counters on the enchantment?

Thanks,

No. A spell that deals damage to multiple targets is still a single source. You may only put 1 counter on the enchantment.

To answer your other two questions:

Can you equip from one creature to another?
Yes. You may freely re-equip equipment as long as the cost is paid.

When a player leaves the game...?

If that doesn't give control of them to a different player (perhaps because they entered the battlefield under the control of the player that left), they're exiled. If the player who left was taking his or her turn, that turn continues to its completion even though that player is now gone.

That is incorrect. The ability doesn't count how many sources deal damage, just how many times an opponent is damaged. In the case above (Fireball targeting thress opponents), you would get 3 Quest counters.

Quest for Pure Flame is especially good in multiplayer in conjunction with spells like Earthquake, Volcanic Fallout, and even something like Flame Rift. All of these cards help to get Quest for the Pure Flame active and really take advantage of its doubling ability once you've sac'd it for its effect.
